This Santoku knife from our Star Collection, has a 7" curved granton edge blade, and a comfortable and durable black POM handle with a steel ring.
The hollow (or granton) edge prevents the food from sticking to the blade by creating a slight separation between the food and blade surfaces.
Modern Japanese style design knife, suited for preparing recipes from different Asian cuisines, and also a versatile tool for handling tasks like cutting a variety of meats, vegetables or fruit, as a midsize knife, chopping like a cleaver, or moving food around like a spatula.
It is an excellent option for a chef at a professional kitchen or serious cook at home.
Blade made of Molybdenum Vanadium stainless steel that has been tempered at 1900 °F using precision Swiss equipment, for better sharpness and rust resistance. Blade is 7" long and 3/32" thick. Hardness is 54-56 RC.
Handle is made of Polyoxymethylene (POM), a strong synthetic polymer with excellent dimensional stability.

Knife is dishwasher safe, however, for lasting sharpness, drying with a soft cloth immediately after machine or handwashing is recommended.
