This chef knife from our Spirit Collection, has a 9-3/4" drop point style Titanium blade with hollow curved edge and a PP plastic handle, which provides a comfortable grip.
The hollow (or granton) edge prevents the food from sticking to the blade by creating a slight separation between the food and blade surface.
This professional, versatile knife can handle all big tasks in a kitchen with elegance and efficiency. From chopping vegetables and slicing beef or fish, to butchering big pieces of meat, it is an excellent option for a chef or a serious cook.
Blade is made of Molybdenum Vanadium stainless steel with an Aluminum Titanium Nitride coating (PVD method) which improves hardness, gives a high temperature stability (1,600°F) and has a beautiful gray-black color. Blade is 9-3/4" long and 1/8" thick; and hardness is 54-56 RC. Item weighs 7.0 oz.
Handle is made in Polypropylene (PP), a strong plastic that remains stable up to 320°F.
