The Catalonia cleaver has a 9-1/2" forged blade, full tang, with an extended stainless-steel bolster for protecting the hand and a triple riveted POM handle, which is comfortable and durable. Blade is straight with a curved edge at the front, for facilitating horizontal cuts without a rocking movement.
This big cleaver is an all-purpose tool, strong and heavy enough for chopping large cuts of meat, bones and cartilages. You can easily chop ribs, steaks, bone sections and different pieces of beef, turkey, fish or other kind of meat in an impeccable way.

Handle is made of Polyoxymethylene (POM), a highly resistant and stable synthetic polymer.

Cleaver is corrosion resistant and dishwasher safe, however, for lasting sharpness, a quick dry with soft cloth is recommended immediately after washing.
