This German design butchering knife has a 14-1/8" precision stamped and forged blade, full tang; it has a POM handle, a synthetic polymer, triple riveted.
This is an extra-large butchering knife, well suited for cutting the biggest pieces of meat, and tough cuts through bones and cartilages. The tool of choice for professional butchers in butcheries, fisheries, restaurants, supermarkets and meat processing facilities.
Blade made of Molybdenum Vanadium stainless steel is 14-1/8" long and slightly less than 3/32" (3 mm) thick. Blade has 53-56 RC hardness. Handle is made of Polyoxymethylene (POM), a high resistance and stable synthetic polymer.

Knife is corrosion resistant and dishwasher safe, however, for lasting sharpness, a quick dry with soft cloth is recommended immediately after washing.
