M&G Chef 8-Pc Knife Block Set - Forged Stainless Steel

This knife set from our Chef Collection has 6 different knives made of forged steel, full tang, with a steel bolster for protecting hand and a triple riveted handle made black POM polymer, which is durable and comfortable. Set includes: one 4" paring knife, one 5-7/8" utility knife, one 8-7/8" chef knife, one 8-1/2" serrated bread knife, one 11-1/4" slicing knife, one 12" sharpening steel, professional kitchen shears and wood block for knife storage and display.

Blades are made of Molybdenum Vanadium stainless steel, precision stamped and forged (forging is a manufacturing step that produces the highest quality material for any specific steel). Blade length and thickness varies, depending on the type of knife. Thickness ranges from 2 to 3 mm (1/16" to 1/8"). All blades have 53-56 RC hardness, which ensures a long-lasting sharpness. Handle is made of Polyoxymethylene (POM), a highly resistant and stable synthetic polymer.

Knives are corrosion resistant and dishwasher safe, however, for lasting sharpness, drying with a soft cloth immediately after machine or handwashing is recommended.
