This Catalonia style cleaver has an 11-3/4" precision stamped and forged blade, full tang, with a POM synthetic handle, triple riveted.
This large cleaver is an all-purpose tool for butchering large cuts of meat with bones and cartilages. Due to the straight edge and wide blade, it can be used as a spatula for moving the meat around. On the other side, the rounded edge can be used as a heavy cutter, with all the strength concentrated in that area.

Blade made of Molybdenum Vanadium stainless steel is 11-3/4" long and 1/8" (4 mm) thick. It has 53-56 RC hardness. Handle is made of Polyoxymethylene (POM), a highly resistant and stable synthetic polymer.

Cleaver is corrosion resistant and dishwasher safe, however, for lasting sharpness, a quick dry with soft cloth is recommended immediately after washing.
