For soft cheeses, this set includes a spreader knife and a smooth cheese knife. The spreader knife is designed for creamy cheeses and works mostly as a spatula. Good for cream cheese, foie gras, garlic butter, hummus, Willoughby cheese, and many others. The smooth cheese knife is intended for cutting soft-firm cheese, like brie or camembert, which are somewhat sticky. Blade perforations reduce the contact surface, preventing the cheese from completely sticking.
For firm cheeses, this set includes a semi-hard cheese knife and a cheese cleaver. The semi-hard cheese knife is designed for cheeses like Parmigiano-Reggiano, Cheddar, Grana Padano, and others. The cheese cleaver is intended for cutting the hardest cheeses, like Parmesan, Pecorino and Provolone, and also for slicing small charcuteries.
Specifications
Knives are full size. Lengths are in the range of 7-1/2” and 9-1/2”. Blades are made of 2Cr13 stainless steel, which is strong and ensures a long-lasting sharpness. Handle is made of stainless-steel type 430, which is decorative, and corrosion resistant. Blade thickness is 1.5mm.

Use & Care
Knives are dishwasher safe, however, for lasting sharpness, a quick dry with soft cloth is recommended after washing.
I wanted a set of cheese knives for a while but looking at different products I decided I wanted a set that was all one piece with no handle attachments (like wooden handles or other material handles they would break apart). I love the variety of these knives and feel that this is such a great value for the variety and quality of the knives. The box it comes in also is great to keep them safe and stored.
